Australian label Deering launches its first collection
A new fashion house has joined the ranks of the Australian fashion industry this week. Founded by former Triangl entrepreneur, author and local Melbourne City politician Erin Deering, contemporary ready-to-wear label Deering has officially landed with its first unisex collection. Embodying strength, fun, and an unapologetic attitude through the sartorial, Deering champions personality-driven dressing as a radical act of self-care. Its debut collection captures this ethos with a seamless blend of utilitarian foundations and modern silhouettes, designed to fit effortlessly into diverse wardrobes and express individual tastes with pieces that are as sharp and structured as they are relaxed and languid.
The collection's co-ordinating sets, in particular, redefine simplicity in everyday wear, offering versatility that’s perfect for mixing and matching within the range. Genderless pieces and womenswear staples explore a balance of masculine and feminine elements, underscoring themes of vulnerability and strength through a distinctly modern lens. The brand’s thoughtful design approach of technical fabrics, unique material applications, and unexpected colour pairings transform wardrobe basics into elevated essentials, focusing on fit, feel, and the joy of getting dressed.
From subtle yet chic Western themes to a polished yet playful bralette and tulip skirt set; a slouchy unisex trench coat to edgy two-tone denim; soft Italian wool cut in an unmistakably relaxed, Australian silhouette to sporty bombers—these wearable everyday pieces encapsulate a enduring appeal, a collection that is diverse yet cohesive in its quality and approach. Deering eyewear, set to launch in November, will complement the new line, one of no doubt many unique launches we can expect from the exciting new brand.
